Friends of Historic Nacogdoches Inc. held a general membership meeting and talk by Archie Rison and Helena Abdullah in celebration of Black History Month.
November 9th - A ribbon cutting on LaNana Creek Trail including dedication of historic plaques for Dr. F. E. "Ab" Abernethy and Frances Shofner, both of whom did so much to promote our natural history.
The Nacogdoches Historic Sites Department hosted a Historic Skills Fair at the Durst-Taylor Historic House & Gardens on Saturday, November 4th from 10:00 AM until noon.
Thanks to everyone who attended Dr. Tom Middlebrook's talk on September 8, 2022 about the Hasinai, French, and Spanish in early east Texas. We had over 40 people pack the meeting room of the CVB. It was a special treat to see some of the results of this summer's archeological excavations.
